Serve

“Serve each other according to the gift each person has received, as good managers of God's diverse gifts.”
— 1 Peter 4:10 CEB

We believe everyone is called to ministry to serve as the body of Christ! Here are some areas we'd love for you to serve in. Everyone who attends Trellis Church is welcome to serve in any of these areas as long as they meet the requirements listed below.

Gatherings

Help out with your gathering or start a new one! We believe in helping gatherings emerge and supporting existing ones. To learn more, check out our Trellis Collective.

Creative

The creative team is open to those who attend Trellis Church gatherings and have photography, videography, or graphics expertise.

Worship

Anyone who attends Trellis Church is welcome to join our worship team as a singer or musician. Practice is typically 1 hour before an event. Worship leaders must profess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior according to our Statement of Faith.

Prayer

In order to join our prayer team, one must profess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior according to our Statement of Faith. Prayer team members are asked to contact people in their gathering throughout the week to offer prayer and pray for people at events.

Discipleship

All Christians are called to disciple one another. In order to help with discipleship, one must profess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior according to our Statement of Faith. Discipleship can be done during our events, one-on-one, or in microchurches, which we call gatherings. You can be involved by committing to disciple one person, leading a microchurch, or hosting a microchurch in your home.

Preaching

Preaching is open to anyone who completes our How to Study the Bible + Spiritual Gifts classes and professes Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior according to our Statement of Faith. In addition to these requirements, to join the preaching team, you must join our church team by being approved by our elders, signing our team agreement, and taking on an area of responsibility.
