We started meeting in houses in January of 2022. We now have a public location to meet at on select Sundays for a time of worship and a discipleship class as part of our City-Wide events which include worship nights, bonfire worship, dinner out, and parties. We also have a number of gatherings meeting throughout the week. Now, we want to encourage more gatherings to emerge. These gatherings are also described as microchurches. For more details, see: What is a Microchurch? Our goal is to be kingdom minded and focused on equipping disciple-making disciples.
We believe the church should grow out and not up. By this we mean that we do not desire to become a megachurch, but instead grow by making disciples and encouraging more gatherings to emerge. We are part of the Underground Network, a global community of microchurches, and Brave Future, an alliance of microchurch networks. We are also learning from both the KC Underground and Greenhouse Church as they have extensive experience with discipleship training and microchurches.
